Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy a website or a care plan from Hatch Studio (“we”, “us”), operating from Singapore. Plain language, no traps — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you pay.

What you get

• Starter (US$150, one-time) — a one-page website built on the template you choose, using your content, colours and logo. One round of revisions.
• Business (US$300, one-time) — up to five pages (typically Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact), light layout customisation, basic SEO setup and an enquiry form. Two rounds of revisions.
• Custom (quoted, from US$750) — anything beyond the above. Scope and price are agreed in writing before work starts.
• Care plans (US$15 or US$49/month) — hosting, SSL, domain management, uptime monitoring, and (on Growth Care) up to one hour of content changes per month.

Timing

We aim to send your preview within 48 hours of your payment being confirmed. Custom orders are quoted first, usually within one working day, and the clock starts when that quote is paid.

If you haven’t sent us your logo, photos or business details by the time we build, we’ll use well-chosen placeholders so your delivery isn’t delayed. Swapping in your real content later is free and never uses up a revision round.

Revisions and scope

Revision rounds cover changes to your content, colours, images and layout details within the package you bought. Adding pages, features or functionality beyond your package is new work — we’ll quote it before doing it. Additional revision rounds can be purchased.

We may pause the 48-hour clock if we’re waiting on something only you can provide (for example, access to a domain you own). We’ll always tell you if that happens.

Your content

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us — text, logos, photos, menus, prices and trademarks — and that it’s lawful and accurate. You remain responsible for what your website says. We may decline or stop work on content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, or infringes someone else’s rights.

Ownership

Once your order is paid in full, your website’s content and design are yours. You can stay on our hosting or take your site elsewhere — we’ll provide an export. We keep ownership of our underlying templates, tooling and code libraries, which we reuse across customers. We may show your finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Domains and hosting

Every site can be published free on a yourbusiness.hatchstudio.io address. If you want your own domain, we recommend registering it in your own name — you keep ownership, we handle the technical setup. Domain registration fees are payable to the registrar and are not included in our prices.

Care plans are month-to-month and you can cancel any time; your site stays online until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If a care plan lapses, we may take a hosted site offline after giving you notice and an export of your files.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply to you. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Liability

We build your site with care, but we don’t promise specific business results — search rankings, traffic or sales. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If we change these terms, the version published here when you ordered is the one that applies to your order.
